How do I replace the shock absorbers?
This is a simple job you can do yourself. All you need is a flat-head screwdriver and a flat object, preferably made of wood.
- Remove the old shock absorber. Insert the flat-head screwdriver behind the shock absorber and carefully lever it out of the hub.
- Insert the new shock absorber. Place the new shock absorber in position in the hub.
- Tap it into place. Using a flat object, preferably made of wood, tap the shock absorber into place until it is fully seated in the hub.
Do not use a hammer or any other object made of a similarly hard material directly on the shock absorber, as this may cause damage.
